In the previous posts I discussed meaning (M-2). The Theory of Balanceology theorizes that both a balanced-centered life, and a life of meaning, depends on the degree we our satisfying our motivational needs (M-1). I declare that each of us will have to decide how our innate motivational needs play out in our own life and how to live a meaningful life. Over the next three posts I will indicate that the Theory of Balanceology focuses on three levels of needs: 1.) basal needs, 2.) deeper needs, and 3.) higher needs. As I discuss these three need levels I will indicate the chapters in the book, Balanceology: The 4 M’s of motivation, meaning, measurement, mitigation, where the various needs are detailed. I welcome any comments about agreement or disagreement related to the need levels.
